Project Management

With more than 20 years’ experience as Program and Project Manager (PMP certified) successfully delivering information systems and organizational change projects in international, multicultural environments, I can help.

The Basics

The basis for successful project delivery lies in getting the basics right and combining this with effective conflict / issue management.

Stakeholder Management

It is very important to identify all the key stakeholders, inside and outside the project team, and to implement an engagement strategy, aligned with the company culture, to create their involvement, prior to, during and after the project. An engaged stakeholder is motivated to resolve project issues, instead of handing them back.

Flexibility Required

Such an approach does require flexibility and my strength as a Project Manager of complex projects, has been my ability to build partnerships between diverse stakeholder teams and to combine that with an adaptable project structure.

What else?

Project Management is a role that requires convincing leadership, clear communication, an openness to accept (and act on) feedback and a healthy sense of humour.

What do you really want to achieve?

It’s a simple question but very difficult to answer. Therefore, we tend to ignore it and fill our time doing what we think others want of us.
