Organisational Transformation Case Study

Inspiring 'Busy' Workshop in Amsterdam

The Last Mile as a Focus for Innovation

The workshop participants were working students studying for a MBA qualification in Supply Chain Management.
The main objective of the workshop was to trigger the realisation of the critical role of stakeholder engagement in business change.
The requirement for the students to work as competing consulting teams, tackling a ‘close to life’ assignment, supported by role play, lead to a lively interactive and creative activity, which generated many real insights.
The consulting assignment ended with a presentation pitch by each team.
As a closing activity a review of the results and lessons learned in similar real-life situations was held in order to allow contrast with the team presentations.
‘this is the first time I have this type of session and I think it’s necessary for my future job’
‘nice to talk about people and not only business’
‘very interactive and more rewarding’
‘the students felt as if they were in the business’
‘everybody participates and contributes’
‘a very good experience for me’
'cool'
